NEOTISS supplies tubes for the automotive industry, in particular for EGR coolers and SCR systems.

Neotiss tubes for the automotive industry EGR coolers and SCR systems

EGR coolers

The EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) cooler is a heat exchanger located in the engine compartment which functions are to recycle part of the exhaust gas and re-inject it into the intake manifold of the engine. This mixture leads to lower combustion temperature and less oxygen excess resulting in a reduction of NOx emissions.
The EGR market is driven by increasingly restrictive environmental standards leading to higher cooling efficiency requirements.

Product & Solutions

NEOTISS provides stainless steel EGR Cooler gas tubes supplying both LP and HP EGR cooler technologies. We are able to produce according to the tube technology designed and selected by automotive equipment manufacturers: smooth, corrugated and flat tubes in grades varying from ferritic to super austenitic.
EGR cooler tubes are produced in our ISO-TS 16949 plant located in Changzhou (China) where we have established a dedicated logistics organization with local warehouses to ensure "just in time" delivery for demanding customers.

SCR

SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) is a technology used in heavy-duty engine in order to reduce NOx.SCR systems injects urea as reductant in exhaust gas. The catalytic reaction transforms NOx in N2 and CO2. This technology is mainly used in USA due to NOx emission regulation, European market is also growing due to regulation.

Product & solutions

NEOTISS provides stainless steel welded tubes for SCR system. We are able to produce according to the tube technology designed and selected by automotive equipment manufacturers: straight smooth tubes and coiled smooth tubes.
SCR tubes are also produced in our ISO-TS 16949 plant located in Changzhou (China) where we have established a dedicated logistics organization with local warehouses to ensure "just in time" delivery for demanding customers.

Certification ISO-TS 16949 since August 2009
